The Proposition

There is nothing like a massive music library which is capable of taking you aback. This is what exactly happened earlier today when I unearthed Nick Cave and Warren Ellis in their soundtrack for the Proposition. No doubt it made my day going around over ten loops and far from exhasting its grip on me. It's aching, focused and minimalist, its haunting atmosphere best represented by the violin and piano dominated Gun Thing. Now I feel I have to see the film.
