Mobile rip-off

It was no revelation to me when the Guardian ran a story about millions of Brits paying more than they need for their mobile services, but I'm happy the issue was brought up by the consumer watchdog Which?. I do believe mobile operators piggyback on consumers thanks to making them sign ridiculously long-term line rental contracts that often mismatch their needs. Allowances for text, minutes and data are either too small or two big, with customers ending up with the wrong tariff that is binding for long months. Personally, I discovered their ways some time ago and brutally downsized to plans which not only suit my usage, but also motivate me to talk and text as little as possible.
