5 Whys


I first came across Harvard Business Review as a student but it was much later, when I started doing writing assignments for one corporate training bureau, that I truly discovered that its materials can be extremely powerful. It's just management bullshit on the face of it but as soon as you see it in relation to your running business, much of that becomes immediately useful.

One recent post I'd recommend is Eric Ries explaining how managers can improve the business process by means of a technique called 5 Whys.
